New Orleans Local Chapter of Voices of Survivors Meet Up
In April, Voices of Survivors will make a group outing to the French Quarter Fest – a weekend of free live music in the historic Vieux Carre district of New Orleans. Local Chapter Leader and awesome ‘Survivor’ is heading this up. If you haven’t checked out the local chapters, take a look at them in the “about us” section of the website. You can see all of the info for each one on their respective facebook page.
The group will meet at the Cafe du Monde from 12:30-1:15 pm initially. There everyone will decide what they will do for the day at the festival!
About
The “Voices of Survivors Foundation” is devoted to exploring what ‘Survivorship’ means to the individual ‘Survivor’, whether they are recently diagnosed, in-treatment or post-treatment, in a variety of documentary formats. Each ‘Survivor’ helps define what this means to not only themselves, but also gives insight to others who are on this journey as well, either as a ‘Survivor’ or a ‘Co-Survivor’.
