Today’s ‘voice’ comes to us by way of a very strong breast cancer ‘Survivor’, Karen Schueler. Each time that we have someone share a little of their journey with us at the “Voices of Survivors Foundation” we get that much closer to a better understanding of what this ‘Survivorship’ is all about. It is global in nature but individual in design. We all find our own path but each time someone stands up to share their ‘voice’, we gain a deeper understanding of our own journey. The “Voices of Survivors Foundation” is devoted to exploring what ‘Survivorship’ means to the individual ‘Survivor’, whether they are recently diagnosed, in-treatment or post-treatment, in a variety of documentary formats. Each ‘Survivor’ helps define what this means to not only themselves, but also gives insight to others who are on this journey as well, either as a ‘Survivor’ or a ‘Co-Survivor’.
