Colleen Marlett Shares Her ‘Voice’ in the ‘Written Word’

Today’s ‘voice’ comes from a new friend of the “Voices of Survivors Foundation”, Colleen Marlett. Colleen was diagnosed with a very rare small cell cervical cancer and through her ‘voice’, she shows all of us what being a ‘Survivor’ is all about. I really can’t thank her enough for opening up in the ‘Written Word’ today with the world at a time when we all need to gain a deeper understanding of how cancer affects us all. Hers is a much needed ‘voice’ in this arena especially given that this month is about bringing awareness to cervical cancer. She definitely is doing that today! Don’t miss her amazingly powerful ‘voice’!

The “Voices of Survivors Foundation” is devoted to exploring what ‘Survivorship’ means to the individual ‘Survivor’, whether they are recently diagnosed, in-treatment or post-treatment, in a variety of documentary formats. Each ‘Survivor’ helps define what this means to not only themselves, but also gives insight to others who are on this journey as well, either as a ‘Survivor’ or a ‘Co-Survivor’.
