Manfred van Kuijk Shares His ‘Voice’ as a ‘Co-Survivor’

Today’s ‘voice’ comes to us all the way from the Netherlands by an amazing friend of the “Voices of Survivors Foundation”, Manfred van Kuijk. Manfred’s story is one of love, patience and a lot of driving. He shares his story with us in a very honest and touching way as he shows us the love that a son has for his father during that difficult time. Each one of us who has been diagnosed has been surrounded on some level by ‘Co-Survivors’ and oft times their stories are forgotten but they are so important for all of us to hear and share. I can’t thank him enough for sharing his with us today in the ‘Co-Survivor’ section!

The “Voices of Survivors Foundation” is devoted to exploring what ‘Survivorship’ means to the individual ‘Survivor’, whether they are recently diagnosed, in-treatment or post-treatment, in a variety of documentary formats. Each ‘Survivor’ helps define what this means to not only themselves, but also gives insight to others who are on this journey as well, either as a ‘Survivor’ or a ‘Co-Survivor’.
