Today’s ‘voice’ comes to us by way of Idaho and a very special non Hodgkin’s lymphoma ‘Survivor’, Dawn Edens. Dawn’s story is one that will move you and make you think about your own advocacy. She is a single mom who when confronted with her diagnosis, she went full steam ahead to fight this beast for her and her son! Don’t miss this amazingly powerful and moving ‘voice’. Dawn is definitely a ‘Survivor’ and once again gives us a deeper understanding of what this thing ‘Survivorship’ is all about!

The “Voices of Survivors Foundation” is devoted to exploring what ‘Survivorship’ means to the individual ‘Survivor’, whether they are recently diagnosed, in-treatment or post-treatment, in a variety of documentary formats. Each ‘Survivor’ helps define what this means to not only themselves, but also gives insight to others who are on this journey as well, either as a ‘Survivor’ or a ‘Co-Survivor’.
